Small Ararat & Big Ararat 7 Day expetidions Tour
Experience the thrill of climbing both Little Ararat (3917m) and Mount Ararat (5137m) on this unique 7-day expedition. Beginning in Doğubayazıt, the tour takes you to the peak of Little Ararat before embarking on a multi-day ascent of Mount Ararat, complete with overnight camps and breathtaking views. This guided adventure includes airport transfers, hotel stays, camping accommodations, and a visit to the historical İshak Pasha Palace, making it a complete experience for mountain enthusiasts.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: we meet ığdır or ağrı Airport to Dogubayazit
Transfer from airport to Dogubayazit city, stay the night at the best hotel.
Day 2: Little Ararat Peak
Early morning after breakfast, we transfer to Ararat at 2000 masl (about 2 hours) bay car. Afterwards, we start trekking to peak (about 5/6 hours), and reach little Ararat top at 3917 masl. After we take some photos on the peak, we go back to the car meeting point at 2000 masl (about 3 hours). Then, we will go back to Dogubayazit and stay the night at the hotel.
Day 3: Mt. Ararat 1st Camp 3200m. Green Camp
Transfer to Cevirme village by minibus (2200 m.) Hike to the first camp at 3200 masl. Equipment will be transported by horses. Stay overnight in tents (includes breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Day 4: Mt. Ararat 2nd Camp 4200m.
Hike up to the second camp from the first camp (3-4 hours). Equipment will be transported by horses. Stay overnight in tents (includes breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Day 5: Mt. Ararat Summit (5137m.)
After an early breakfast, we hike to the peak (8-9 hours), then return to the second camp. Then, we pack our things and return to the first camp. Stay overnight in tents 3200m.
Day 6: Mt. Ararat 1st Camp – Dogubeyazit .
Transfer back to Dogubeyazit. After breakfast, we walk down to cevirme village at 2200 m and transfer to Ishak pasa Palace and have city tour in the afternoon. Stay overnight at the hotel
Day 7: Dogubeyazit – again transfer Airport
After breakfast, transfer back to transfer Airport. End of tour
